World Cycling Championships 2026 Canada
fotobureau Cor VosThe World Cycling Championships kicks off on Sunday with the ITTs, and the men’s road race is set to conclude the event on Sunday, September 27. The road races are hilly, the ITT's predominantly flat. It will be the second time the battle for the rainbow jersey takes place in Montreal; in 1974, Eddy Merckx won his third world title there.
The reigning champions are Tadej Pogacar and Magdeleine Vallieres (road races), Remco Evenepoel and Marlen Reusser (ITT), and Australia (mixed relay).
